Another Sunday, another painting!

Someone needs to make a workshop item which replaces the ghost ship with a mecha shark.

After struggling with the filling out of the tax forms, I've finally managed to put up my stuff on the Dota2 workshop! This is a custom loading screen that I did a few months back.

While discussing this artist's Pokemon fanart at work this past week, an idea suddenly dawned upon me. I should portray Dota2 heroes as Pokemon gym leaders! I narrowed down to just humanoid characters in my pool of hero considerations. As much as something like a Tiny with a Golem makes sense, it will look weird too. 

I'll start this (potential) series with Drow. Honestly, the best fit would be Sneasal/Weavile. However I had a lot of trouble fitting it into the composition with the correct pose. So I copped out and went with a Glaceon on my friend's suggestion. I did the lineart during a Google hangout with my friends. The process was surprisingly fun! Might do more of these in the future.
