While it's not my favourite superhero movie or even X-Men movie (I thought DoFP was better, for the sole merit of being able to accomplish so much within the duration of the film), it is certainly the best film I've seen this year. I love the relationship dynamics between Logan, Xavier and X-23. Did you like the film?

 Did a painting of Gordon Ramsay for the Schoolism class I'm taking. Happy year of the Chicken! Original sketches of Ramsay and other citizens below:    I've uploaded the rest of the Mekazoo artworks (both 2D and 3D) into the "Art" category. Be sure to check it out! I've also shifted the "Art" section back to being the homepage. I will be preparing to transit out of The Good Mood Creators in the coming year. I'll leave you with a Dwayne Johnson caricature sketch I did yesterday.   Week 5's assignment was to do a colored painting of Anne Hathaway. I posted the initial sketch I did on the Level Up! Facebook group, my Facebook page and my Instagram. The 2nd sketch won by a huge margin so I decided to bring that to a final render. For this assignment, we were taught to use a technique where you create another Photoshop document that acts as a palette for color mixing. We were also instructed to use a limited color scheme. I chose the Split Complementary combination of Green, Orange and Purple for this piece. I think the technique is pretty effective in achieving nice skin tones.  |
